Wally Gundlach has been in the investment profession since 1986 and has often helped guide clients through turbulent financial times. He previously co-led the J.P. Morgan Private Bank office as an Investment Team Lead and Senior Investor for the New Orleans office. Prior to that, he was employed with Hibernia Investments for 10 years, and began his career with Scharff and Jones, where he specialized in the tax-free municipal bond practice. Since 2001, Wally has advised wealthy families on the many complex aspects of their balance sheet including pre-transaction planning, retirement, estate and wealth transition, lending, and investments.
Wally is an Advisory Board member for Resource Bank based in south Louisiana. He is a long-time board member and prior chairman of Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana, serves on the board of Second Harvest Food Bank, and is on the Advisory Council with The Bastion Community of Resilience, which helps veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI). He has been active as a board member in all of his children's schools and coached more soccer games than he can recall. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fishing or hunting, any chance he can. Wally has been married to his beautiful wife Ginger for 32 years and they have four grown daughters and one amazing granddaughter
